"I can't believe it"
She said as I showed her my sketch for a shirt designed for her
"That is me! That is what I have been questioning God about all weekend"

It has been an interesting journey for me.
I was freed from some baggage 2 months ago, and since then, I am more free to hear.

The Spirit speaks.

I hear.

I sketch.

She cried.

This one is called "Spirit Rain, Flood In, Pour Out"
This friend of mine was battling with thoughts of

Does God use me still?
Do I pour out what he has given me?

I think His answer was "YES"!

  1. oh this is wonderful. i love it! you pour into so many lives melissa... i think you should link up with imperfect prose tonight: and if you just add this to the bottom of your blog, that would be perfect: (then people will be able to return to the community.) i love you friend.

  2. Yes! It's definitely Imperfect Prose, for you, my girl! So beautiful that you created something that touched another's soul with the love of God.

  3. Wow! What a powerful, creative gift you have been given . . to hear, to create, then to give a message that your friend can literally wear. Reminds me of Deuteronomy 6: "These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts . . Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads." Inspiring. Thank you.

  4. a gift .. your words will touch many today

  5. So, so cool. What a gift. Rejoicing with you today that you hear Him.

  6. oh wow - this is really beautiful - love your gift of expressing what god says on shirts - very unique!

  8. Hey thanks everyone! Your words are all so encouraging.
Suzannah, no I don't have an etsy shop. I havn't desided is its worth it yet. :)

  9. What a lovely gift. To have something someone has made especially for you and to know they were listening to the Father - what a blessing.
